Which swap-free brokers don't charge admin fees on held positions?
Verdict
- Pepperstone is our overall pick but its swap-free account charges an admin fee once a trade has been held for five days (USD 100 per standard lot on FX and precious metals), and it is not available to UAE residents.
- XS says it neither widens spreads nor adds fees in place of swap; the exceptions are crypto, which pays standard swaps after three days, and shares, which pay swaps from day one.
- Equiti's Swap Free Mini, offered in the UAE on MT5, charges no swap or admin fees on deposits up to $25,000.
- Capital.com, our second pick, offers swap-free accounts to UAE residents but does not publish whether an admin fee applies.
Many swap-free accounts swap one charge for another: no interest, but a daily or per-lot fee once you hold a position for a few days. If you hold trades for weeks, that fee can cost more than the swap it replaces. Here is who charges what.
Where Pepperstone stands
Pepperstone remains our first choice for UAE traders on a standard account, thanks to its 0.1-pip Razor average on EUR/USD and $10 minimum. Its swap-free account is a different product: residents of 23 listed countries only (not the UAE or Saudi Arabia), Standard-account pricing, a minimum opening balance of AUD 200 and, once a trade has been held for five days, an admin charge per standard lot that its table sets at USD 100 for FX and precious metals.

What a holding fee costs over a month
IC Markets publishes a holding fee of $11 per lot on EUR/USD after a grace period of up to five days. Hold one lot for 20 nights and, if the full grace applies, 15 nights are charged: 15 × $11 = $165. At XS the same position would carry no fee in place of swap, according to its terms. IC Markets is shown only as a worked example; whether it accepts UAE residents is unverified in our data.
Our pick if you hold positions for weeks
XS, on its plain no-fee statement, followed by Equiti's Swap Free Mini if your deposit stays under $25,000 and you trade on MT5. Capital.com is our second-ranked broker overall and offers swap-free in the UAE, so ask it in writing what, if anything, it charges after a set number of days before you commit long-term positions.

Leveraged CFD trading is complex and high risk, and losses can build very quickly. This is not investment advice. Broker terms change, so confirm them with the broker before you deposit.
