Which CFD brokers in the UAE have the lowest spreads?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • For UAE residents, Pepperstone's Razor account has the lowest published spreads we can verify: averages of 0.1 pips on EUR/USD, 0.2 on GBP/USD and 0.3 on USD/JPY, plus commission.
  • XS matches Pepperstone on EUR/USD (0.1 pips average on its Elite account, $6 round-turn commission, $500 minimum), but publishes no AED account.
  • Capital.com has no published EUR/USD average in our data, so we can't rank its spreads.
  • On total trading fees for one lot of EUR/USD, Pepperstone Razor on cTrader and XS Elite tie at about $7; Pepperstone Standard costs about $11 with no commission.

Spreads only count if you compare like with like: published averages, not “from” minimums, and with commission added back in. On that basis Pepperstone leads for UAE traders. Here are the numbers, then the fees that a spread table leaves out.

Lowest published spreads in the UAE: Pepperstone Razor

Pepperstone publishes average, not minimum, spreads for its main pairs and gold, which is why we can compare it with confidence. Razor passes through raw pricing and charges a commission per lot; Standard builds a 1-point mark-up into the spread instead. For a UAE resident, Razor also comes with an AED base currency, Mashreq Bank and Barclays transfers, and a choice of MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView and Pepperstone's app.

Which CFD brokers have the lowest trading fees?

Turn spreads into dollars for one standard lot of EUR/USD, opened and closed, at $10 per pip. Then add the fees that hit you outside the trade.

  • Pepperstone Razor, cTrader: $1 spread + $6 commission = about $7 per round turn.
  • XS Elite: $1 + $6 = about $7, but the account needs $500 to open.
  • Pepperstone Razor, MT5 or TradingView: $1 + $7 = about $8.
  • Pepperstone Standard: 1.1 pips = about $11, no commission.
  • Non-trading fees: Pepperstone charges no inactivity or account-keeping fee. XS reserves the right to charge up to 3% on withdrawals where there has been no trading activity. Plus500's UAE fees page lists an inactivity fee of up to $10 a month after 3 months without logging in.

Why averages beat “from” figures

A “from 0.0 pips” claim describes the tightest moment of the day, often at peak liquidity. An average tells you what you are likely to pay across the session. Pepperstone's Razor minimum on EUR/USD is 0.0, but we quote its 0.1 average because that is the honest comparison. When a broker only publishes “from” figures, ask for its average for your pair and trading hours.

Costs a spread table leaves out

  • Overnight swap: Pepperstone does not offer its swap-free account to UAE residents, so positions held past rollover pay or receive swap. Capital.com and XS offer swap-free accounts in the UAE.
  • Currency conversion: funding a non-AED account in dirhams means converting; Pepperstone and Capital.com offer AED accounts, XS does not.
  • Withdrawal fees: Pepperstone's international costs page lists a $20 fee for international bank wires; UAE residents can use Mashreq Bank or Barclays local transfers instead.
