What is the best AI trading platform in the UAE?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • The best AI trading platform for a UAE resident, in our view, is not a stand-alone app but a Pepperstone account running your model on cTrader (C# cBots) or MT5 (expert advisors), with AED funding and published costs.
  • cTrader is the cheaper route at Pepperstone: $3.00 per side on FX versus $3.50 on MT5, and both sit on top of a 0.1-pip average EUR/USD spread on Razor.
  • Be wary of “AI platforms” marketed to UAE traders that hold your money themselves: check the company and licence on the DFSA or CMA register first.
  • Capital.com (MT4, MT5 and TradingView, with EAs allowed) is our second choice and the one to pick if you need a swap-free account.

An AI trading platform has two halves: the software that runs your strategy, and the regulated broker that executes it and holds your money. For UAE residents we recommend combining a mainstream automation platform with Pepperstone, rather than trusting both halves to one unknown app.

Our pick: an AI strategy on cTrader or MT5 at Pepperstone

Pepperstone lets UAE residents run automated strategies on MT5 and cTrader on either account type, and on MT4 with a Razor account. Its UAE algorithmic-trading page confirms expert advisors are allowed, and eligible clients get a free VPS. You can hold the account in dirhams, fund by Mashreq Bank or Barclays transfer, and start from $10 while you test the model with small size.

What a model costs to run per lot

Costs compound fast when software trades often. On one standard lot of EUR/USD at Pepperstone's published averages, a round turn costs about $7 on cTrader Razor, $8 on MT5 Razor and $11 on Standard. A strategy that makes 10 such trades a day pays roughly $70, $80 or $110 a day before swap. If your back-test assumed zero costs, re-run it with these numbers before going live.

Checking an AI platform advertised in the UAE

  1. Find the company that would hold your money and its licence number.
  2. Look it up on the DFSA public register (for DIFC firms) or the CMA's licensee list (for onshore firms), or the register of whichever regulator it names.
  3. Be suspicious of fixed or guaranteed monthly returns; no regulated broker can promise them.
  4. Prefer setups where you keep the account at a regulated broker and only connect the software to it.

Pepperstone's limits for algorithmic traders

  • Retail leverage on the UAE site is up to 1:200 on major pairs, gold and major indices; Pro clients can reach 1:500. Code your own exposure cap.
  • Pepperstone does not offer a swap-free account to UAE residents, so strategies holding overnight pay swap.
  • Copy trading appears only on Pepperstone's international site, not the UAE one.
  • Stop-loss orders, including those placed by a bot, can't be guaranteed to fill at your level.

Is AI trading legal in the UAE?

Using software to place trades on your own account is a matter between you and your broker; what you must check is that the broker accepts UAE residents and names a licensed company on your contract.

Do I need coding skills?

To build a model, usually yes: C# for cTrader cBots or MetaTrader's language for EAs. You can also buy EAs, but test them yourself first.

Does Pepperstone give a free VPS in the UAE?

Pepperstone offers a free VPS to eligible and Pro clients; ask it what qualifies on your account.
