Can I trade Nvidia 24 hours a day?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Nearly, with Pepperstone, our pick: it offers 100+ US share CFDs on a 24-hour, five-day schedule through symbols ending in -24, and its group-wide perpetual CFD list includes Nvidia (NVDA), a product that trades 24/7.
  • The catch for Singapore: the Bahamas entity's retail margin table we checked lists perpetuals only on gold, NAS100, US500 and two oil contracts, so we cannot confirm an NVDA perpetual for retail clients here.
  • Singapore residents are served by Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB SIA-F217); Pepperstone has no MAS licence.
  • If true round-the-clock exposure matters, NAS100-PERP, which is on the Singapore retail table, tracks the index Nvidia belongs to.

Nvidia's regular session falls during Singapore's night, which is why extended hours matter more here than in New York. There are three ways to hold Nvidia at Pepperstone, each with different hours.

Three ways to trade Nvidia at Pepperstone

Pepperstone offers a standard NVDA share CFD that follows the US market session, a 24-hour range of US share CFDs, and a perpetual CFD. Its 24-hour page says more than 100 US share CFDs trade 24/5 under symbols with a -24 suffix, such as AAPL.US-24. Our sources do not confirm that Nvidia is on that list, so search the platform for its -24 version before you plan around it. Share CFDs carry up to 1:20 retail leverage under the Bahamas entity, and US shares cost US$0.02 per share each side in Pepperstone's published schedules.

Why 24/5 matters from Singapore

The regular US session opens at 9:30 pm or 10:30 pm Singapore time, depending on US daylight saving, and closes before dawn. A 24/5 share CFD lets you react to Asian-hours news, such as a supplier's results in Taiwan or Korea, during your own working day instead of waiting for New York. It does not cover weekends: anything that happens on Saturday is priced in when trading resumes.

The perpetual route and the weekend question

Pepperstone's perpetual CFDs launched in 2026 with no expiry, 24/7 trading and no crypto wallet needed. Funding is set weekly in advance and applied daily at 5 pm New York time. They run on TradingView, MT5, cTrader and the Pepperstone app. In the UK the product is restricted to professional clients, and for Singapore the retail margin table lists only GOLD-PERP, NAS100-PERP, US500-PERP, WTOIL-PERP and BRENTOIL-PERP. Ask Pepperstone whether NVDA's perpetual is open to your account before counting on weekend trading.

Before trading Nvidia out of hours

  1. Search the symbol list for NVDA's -24 and perpetual versions and note which ones your account can open.
  2. Compare the spread out of hours with the regular session before trading size.
  3. Set stops knowing Pepperstone offers no guaranteed stop-loss, so a gap can fill beyond your level.
  4. Remember that overnight financing or perpetual funding applies to positions held past the daily cut-off.

Can I trade Nvidia at the weekend?

Only through a perpetual CFD, which trades 24/7. Pepperstone lists an NVDA perpetual group-wide, but it is not on the Singapore retail margin table we checked; NAS100-PERP is.

What leverage applies to an Nvidia CFD for Singapore clients?

Up to 1:20 on share CFDs under Pepperstone's Bahamas entity, so a US$5,000 position needs US$250 of margin.

Is a 24-hour share CFD the same as owning Nvidia stock?

No. It is a contract on the price; you get no voting rights and you pay financing to hold it overnight.

CFDs, including 24-hour and perpetual CFDs, are complex leveraged products and prices can move sharply outside regular market hours. Pepperstone's international site states that 80% of retail investor accounts lose money with this provider. Not investment advice.
