Which brokers offer perpetual CFDs?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone is the broker we recommend for perpetual CFDs, and the only one in our verified data with a published perpetual range: contracts with no expiry that trade 24/7 on indices, commodities and single stocks.
  • For UAE accounts, Pepperstone's retail margin table lists five perpetuals: gold, NAS100, US500, WTI and Brent crude.
  • Holding cost comes from a funding rate that Pepperstone sets a week in advance and applies daily at 5 pm New York, instead of an overnight swap.
  • In the UK, Pepperstone restricts perpetual CFDs to professional clients; its Australian and EU pages do not say whether retail clients can trade them.

Perpetual contracts started on crypto exchanges, where they let traders hold a leveraged futures-style position without an expiry date. Pepperstone has brought the format to CFDs on traditional markets. Here is what it offers, who can trade it, what it costs and how it differs from the CFDs you already know.

Pepperstone's perpetual CFDs

Pepperstone added perpetual CFDs to its range in 2026: open-ended contracts quoted around the clock, with no wallet or exchange account involved. The published underlyings are NAS100, SP500, WTI, Brent and gold, plus single stocks including AMD, Alphabet, Nvidia, Tesla, MSTR, SanDisk, SK Hynix, Samsung, SpaceX, CXMT and Unitree. You can trade them on TradingView, MT5, cTrader and the Pepperstone app. We recommend Pepperstone because it publishes the mechanics, the commission and a margin table, and no other broker in our verified data publishes a comparable product.

Who can trade them, region by region

  • UAE: Pepperstone's UAE retail tiered-margin table (version 3 September 2026) lists GOLD-PERP, NAS100-PERP, US500-PERP, WTOIL-PERP and BRENTOIL-PERP. Confirm with Pepperstone that your account type can trade them.
  • UK: professional clients only.
  • Australia and the EU: the products are listed, but the pages don't say whether retail clients are eligible.
  • The single-stock perpetuals don't appear on the UAE retail margin table.

A funding-rate example

Say you hold a $20,000 US500-PERP position for five days. At Pepperstone's Australian rate of 0.015% per side, commission is $3 to open and $3 to close. Funding is then charged once a day at 5 pm New York, at the rate Pepperstone fixed at the start of the week, so you can calculate the five-day cost before you open. Compare that with a cash US500 CFD, which has a 0.4-point Razor average spread and no commission but pays the overnight swap, and with the US500-F forward, whose minimum spread is 1 point.

Risks specific to perpetuals

  • Weekend trading means weekend gaps: prices can move far before the underlying exchange reopens.
  • The funding rate changes weekly, so a long hold can cost more than you planned.
  • Pepperstone publishes no guaranteed stop-loss, so stops can slip.
  • Capital.com and XS publish no perpetual CFDs in our data, so you cannot shop around for this product among our top three.
