What trading platforms does Pepperstone offer?
Verdict
- Pepperstone offers five trading platforms: its own web platform and app, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView.
- On the international site that serves Singapore, the Standard account runs on four of them; TradingView needs a Razor account.
- Razor commission depends on the platform: cTrader is cheapest at $3.00 per side on FX, MT5 and TradingView charge $3.50, and MT4 charges $7 when the trade opens.
- Add-ons include Smart Trader Tools for MetaTrader, cTrader Automate for C# bots and three copy-trading routes.
Few brokers let one account reach all of MetaTrader, cTrader and TradingView. Pepperstone does, which is a large part of why we rate it first. Here is what each platform costs and which account opens it.

Which one fits how you trade
- Chart-first traders: TradingView on Razor lets you trade from the charts you already use.
- Scalpers watching every cent: cTrader has the lowest FX commission, and Pepperstone publishes execution from 50 ms with a 99.32% fill rate (Q1 2026).
- Expert-advisor users: MT4 or MT5, with algorithmic trading and Pepperstone's Smart Trader Tools such as Trade Terminal and Correlation Matrix.
- Developers: cTrader Automate for C# cBots, or API trading.
- Newer traders: the Pepperstone app keeps everything in one place and carries perpetual CFDs.
Tools that sit on top
Pepperstone's tools page says Smart Trader Tools adds 28 apps, expert advisors and indicators to MetaTrader, while another page puts the suite at 60 or more, so treat the count loosely. Copy trading runs through the CopyTrading by Pepperstone app, cTrader Copy and MetaTrader Signals. Razor averages are 0.1 pips on EUR/USD and 0.12 on gold; what changes from one platform to the next is the commission.
How that compares with XS
XS, which also accepts Singapore residents, lists MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own XS Trading App. Its Elite account prices EUR/USD at a 0.1-pip average with a $6 round-turn commission and needs $500. If you want cTrader or TradingView, Pepperstone is the one of the two that offers them.
Before you choose
- Decide whether you need TradingView; if so, open Razor, not Standard.
- Price your platform: the same EUR/USD lot costs $7 on cTrader and $8 on MT5 at Razor averages.
- Remember your account is with Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB Bahamas, SIA-F217), not a MAS-licensed company.
