Does Pepperstone accept clients from Singapore?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Yes. Pepperstone accepts Singapore residents through Pepperstone Markets Limited, a Bahamas company licensed by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SIA-F217).
  • There is no Singapore website or Singapore company: pepperstone.com/en-sg returns an error and Pepperstone's own site routes Singapore visitors to its international pages.
  • Pepperstone holds no MAS licence, so your account is not supervised in Singapore; MAS-licensed alternatives include IG, CMC Markets and OANDA.
  • You can hold the account in SGD and open it from $10.

Singapore residents can open a Pepperstone account, but not with a Singapore-regulated company. Here is who you actually sign with, what the account looks like, and the points Pepperstone does not spell out for Singapore.

Yes, through Pepperstone's Bahamas company

Pepperstone has no Singapore office or licence. Its website tells search engines that the Singapore version of the site is the international one at pepperstone.com/en, and that site names Pepperstone Markets Limited (company no. 177174 B, Nassau) as the provider. Its client terms exclude residents of Australia, the UK, the EU and the US; Singapore is not on that list. Pepperstone publishes no Singapore-specific eligibility page, so the application form is where your residency is confirmed.

Funding from Singapore

The international deposit table lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill and crypto, plus domestic bank transfer, all free. It also shows Australian methods such as BPAY and PayID, because the table is shared with the Australian site. No Singapore-specific method, such as PayNow or FAST, is published, so ask support before relying on a local transfer. Withdrawals go back to the source you paid from.

What you give up by not using a MAS-licensed broker

  • Your account is supervised by the Bahamas regulator, not MAS.
  • No investor compensation scheme is named for this entity.
  • Disputes would fall under the Bahamas entity's terms rather than Singapore rules.
  • If those points matter more than cost, IG, CMC Markets and OANDA list MAS licences.

Other brokers that take Singapore residents

Among the brokers in our data, XS also accepts Singapore residents and publishes an Elite account at 0.1 pips average on EUR/USD with a $6 round-turn commission and a $500 minimum. XS lists licences in Australia, Cyprus, South Africa, Seychelles, Labuan and Mauritius, but none from MAS. Capital.com does not list Singapore among the countries it accepts.
