Does Pepperstone offer SGD-denominated accounts?
Verdict
- Yes. Pepperstone lists SGD among ten base currencies on its international site, the one Singapore residents use, for both Standard and Razor accounts.
- On a Razor account held in SGD, FX commission is SGD 4.55 per side per standard lot; Standard accounts pay no commission.
- The account opens from $10 or the SGD equivalent, and Pepperstone publishes no Singapore-specific deposit method such as PayNow or FAST.
- The SGD account sits with Pepperstone Markets Limited, licensed in the Bahamas (SCB SIA-F217); Pepperstone holds no MAS licence.
If you earn and spend in Singapore dollars, an SGD base currency keeps your balance, margin and profit in the currency you think in. Pepperstone offers one; here is how it works and what it costs.
SGD is on the list
Pepperstone's funding page for its international site lists USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY, NZD, SGD and HKD as base currencies. You pick one when you open the account. Your balance and profit and loss are shown in that currency.

Razor commission by account currency
Pepperstone sets the Razor commission per standard lot, per side, in each base currency. This is the rate on MT5, TradingView and the Pepperstone platform.
| Base currency | Commission per side | Round turn |
|---|---|---|
| SGD | SGD 4.55 | SGD 9.10 |
| USD | USD 3.50 | USD 7.00 |
| HKD | HKD 28.17 | HKD 56.34 |
| AUD | AUD 3.50 | AUD 7.00 |
When an SGD account helps, and when it doesn't
- It helps if you fund from a Singapore-dollar card or bank account, since your deposit is not converted on the way in.
- Most CFDs are priced in other currencies, such as EUR/USD in dollars, so profits are still converted into SGD when they hit your balance.
- If you trade mainly US share CFDs, a USD account avoids converting every trade.
- If your trading splits between currencies, ask Pepperstone about adding a second account in another base currency.
Funding an SGD account
The international deposit table lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, crypto and bank transfer, all free. No Singapore-specific method appears, and the table also shows Australian options such as BPAY and PayID, so check with Pepperstone which methods support SGD before you deposit.
Other brokers in Singapore
XS also accepts Singapore residents and publishes an Elite account at 0.1 pips average on EUR/USD with a $6 round-turn commission and a $500 minimum; we have not verified an SGD base currency for it. If an SGD account with a MAS-licensed firm is what you need, ask IG, CMC Markets or OANDA, which list MAS licences.
