What is Pepperstone's minimum deposit in the UAE?
Verdict
- Pepperstone's minimum deposit for UAE residents is $10 (or the local equivalent), on both the Standard and Razor accounts, and the account can be held in AED.
- That is the lowest entry point of our top three for UAE residents: Capital.com asks $20, and XS's Elite account, where its lowest published spread sits, needs $500.
- $10 is enough to test a deposit, a withdrawal and the platform, not to trade sensible size: one standard lot of EUR/USD needs about $550 of margin at the UAE retail cap of 1:200.
- Fund by Mashreq Bank or Barclays transfer (up to 2 business days), or instantly by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The headline figure is simple: $10. What deserves more thought is what that amount lets you do, which route to pay in by from the UAE, and how much you actually need before your first real trade.
$10 on either account, held in dirhams if you like
Pepperstone's UAE accounts page sets minimum funding at “$10 or your local equivalent” for both account types. You can choose AED as the base currency, alongside USD, EUR, GBP and AUD, so a dirham deposit stays in dirhams. That low threshold is one reason Pepperstone is our first choice for UAE traders: you can prove the whole deposit-and-withdrawal loop with pocket money before committing more.

What $10 can and can't do
Leverage decides how far a small balance stretches. At 1:200, the maximum for UAE retail clients on major currency pairs, $10 of margin supports about $2,000 of exposure. Worked through on EUR/USD at an assumed price of 1.1000:
- One standard lot (about $110,000 of exposure) needs roughly $550 of margin, so it is out of reach.
- A position of about $2,000 is possible, but a move of 0.5% against it would consume the entire $10.
- Costs still apply: on Standard, the 1.1-pip average spread is about $11 per full lot, scaled down for smaller positions.
- The sensible use of $10 is a test: deposit, open and close one tiny trade, withdraw, and time each step.

How much to deposit for real trading
There is no right number, but there is a method: decide the most you would lose on one trade, set the stop distance, and work back to a position size whose loss at the stop stays within that amount, with margin to spare. For most people that means several hundred dollars or more, not $10. Deposit only money you can afford to lose.
