Does Pepperstone offer copy trading?
Verdict
- Yes. Pepperstone's international site, which serves Singapore residents, offers three routes: the CopyTrading by Pepperstone app and web platform, cTrader Copy, and MetaTrader Signals.
- Pepperstone says its own copy platform lists more than 9,000 vetted traders and works with MT4 and MT5 accounts.
- Copy trading is not on Pepperstone's UK, Australian or UAE sites; those copy-trading pages return errors.
- Copying does not reduce risk: you take every loss the trader you copy takes, and Pepperstone discloses that 80% of retail accounts on this entity lose money.
Singapore traders land on the one Pepperstone site where copy trading is available. Below: the three tools, who each suits, and what to check before you hand your trades to someone else.
Three ways to copy at Pepperstone
Pepperstone Markets Limited, the Bahamas-licensed company serving Singapore, offers copy trading through its own app and two platform-native tools. Its copy-trading terms on the legal page are dated August 2024.
| Tool | Works with | Suits |

What copying costs
Your copied trades pay Pepperstone's normal pricing: on Standard, a 1.1-pip average EUR/USD spread with no commission; on Razor, a 0.1-pip average plus commission of $3.00 per side on cTrader or $3.50 elsewhere. Strategy providers may charge their own fees on top; check them before you subscribe, since Pepperstone's pages we verified do not list them.
How to pick a trader to copy
- Look at drawdown before return; a big gain with deep losses along the way can repeat in reverse.
- Prefer a track record of a year or more on a live account.
- Check the leverage they use against your own tolerance; retail FX leverage at this entity goes up to 1:200.
- Start with a small allocation and a stop on the whole copy position.
Risks specific to copying
- Lag between the leader's fill and yours can give you a worse price.
- A strategy built for a large account may not scale down cleanly to yours.
- Pepperstone does not publish guaranteed stops, so a gap can take you past your stop.
- Your account is regulated in the Bahamas, not by MAS.
