Is the Pepperstone app any good?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone's own app is a solid all-in-one choice: it is available on both Standard and Razor accounts, handles instant Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits, and lists perpetual CFDs, which is why we recommend Pepperstone to traders who mainly use their phone.
  • We don't quote app-store ratings or features we haven't verified; test it yourself with Pepperstone's $10 minimum deposit before committing.
  • If you rely on expert advisors, cBots or advanced charting, MT5, cTrader or TradingView remain the better tools, and Pepperstone offers all three.
  • Razor trades placed through the app pay $3.50 commission per side on FX, the same as MT5 and TradingView.

Whether an app is “good” depends on what you want from it: quick trades, account management, or serious analysis. Below is what we can confirm about Pepperstone's app from its own pages, where the other platforms do a better job, and how to judge it in a few minutes yourself.

Our view: a capable all-in-one app on a broker we rate highly

Pepperstone's own platform comes as a web version and a mobile app and is offered on both its Standard and Razor accounts in the UAE, so you can use it whichever pricing you choose. Pepperstone lists its perpetual CFDs as tradable on the app, and funding by Apple Pay or Google Pay is instant, with withdrawals by the same methods listed as immediate on the UAE site. For traders who want one place to fund, trade and monitor, it does the job, on top of Pepperstone's published costs and AED account.

  • Perpetual CFDs are listed as available on the Pepperstone app, along with TradingView, MT5 and cTrader.

What we haven't verified

We don't publish app-store ratings, download numbers or feature lists we haven't checked against Pepperstone's own pages, and its copy-trading app is offered on the international site rather than the UAE one. The fastest way to judge the app is to try it: open an account, deposit the $10 minimum, place and close one tiny trade, and request a withdrawal. If the app feels limited, the same account works on MT5 or cTrader.

How rival apps compare

Capital.com offers its own web platform and mobile app alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView, and it is our second choice in the UAE, particularly if you need a swap-free account. XS has the XS Trading App plus MT4 and MT5. We have no verified app-feature data for either, so compare them hands-on as well.

Sources

Pepperstone pages.

Is the Pepperstone app free?

Our sources show no charge for the app; you pay trading costs such as spreads, commission on Razor and swap.

Can I use MT5 on my phone with Pepperstone instead?

Pepperstone offers MT5 on both UAE account types; MetaTrader's own mobile app can connect to it.

Can I copy trades in the app?

Pepperstone's copy-trading service is published on its international site only, not the UAE site, so don't count on it as a UAE resident.

Risk warning: CFDs are complex, leveraged products, and you can lose money quickly. Only trade if you understand how they work and can afford to lose what you put in. Nothing here is investment advice, and the terms quoted are the brokers' own and can change without notice.
