What is the best CFD trading app for Singapore traders?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone's app is our pick for Singapore traders: one login gives the Pepperstone app plus cTrader, MT4, MT5 and, on Razor, TradingView, on the same account and prices.
  • The account behind the app covers 24/7 crypto CFDs and 24/5 US share CFDs, and opens from USD 10 or the local equivalent.
  • Pepperstone's international entity, Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB Bahamas, SIA-F217), has no MAS licence; eToro, IG and Plus500 offer apps through MAS-licensed Singapore companies.
  • XS, which accepts Singapore residents, has its own XS Trading App alongside MT4 and MT5.

A trading app is only as good as the account behind it. Pepperstone's case is that you are not locked into one app: the same account runs on its own app and on several third-party platforms, at the same published costs.

Why we choose the Pepperstone app

  • One account, several apps: Pepperstone's web platform and app, MT4, MT5 and cTrader on Standard; Razor adds TradingView.
  • Copy trading on the move: the international site offers the CopyTrading by Pepperstone app, which Pepperstone says lists more than 9,000 vetted traders.
  • Markets outside Asian hours: more than 100 US share CFDs trade 24/5, and crypto and perpetual CFDs trade 24/7.
  • Costs as on desktop: 0.1 pips average on EUR/USD Razor plus commission, 1.1 pips on Standard.

What to test in any CFD app before funding

  1. Place a market and a pending order and check how clearly the app shows margin used.
  2. Set a stop-loss on a position and confirm it appears on desktop too.
  3. Find the swap and contract details for an instrument without leaving the app.
  4. Run a small deposit and withdrawal from your phone.

Apps that aren't a fit here

Tiger Brokers' app is MAS-licensed but its Singapore offer has no CFDs; FX exposure there is through CME futures. Capital.com has an app, but it does not accept Singapore residents. On Pepperstone, an app trade carries the same risk as any CFD: the international entity says 80% of retail accounts lose money.

Is the Pepperstone app free?

Our data shows no app fee; you pay the account's spread and commission on trades.

Can I use TradingView on my phone with Pepperstone?

TradingView is a supported platform on the Razor account, so you can trade that account from TradingView's interface; check TradingView's own app for mobile features.

Which CFD app is MAS-regulated?

In our data, eToro, IG, Plus500 and Phillip Securities offer apps through MAS-licensed Singapore companies. Pepperstone's and XS's are not.

Trading CFDs on a phone is as risky as on a desktop: they are complex, leveraged products and you can lose money rapidly. This page is not investment advice.
