Which brokers can I connect to TradingView to trade directly from the charts?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone is our first choice for placing trades straight from TradingView charts: link a Razor account and pay a published 0.1-pip EUR/USD average plus $3.50 commission per side.
  • Capital.com also lists a TradingView integration and accepts Hong Kong residents; XS does not offer TradingView, only MT4, MT5 and its own app.
  • ActivTrades, OANDA and FP Markets also list TradingView and accept Hong Kong clients, according to our broker database.
  • None of these brokers shows an SFC licence in our data. Pepperstone serves Hong Kong from Pepperstone Markets Limited in the Bahamas (SCB, SIA-F217).

You can trade from TradingView charts only through a broker that has built a connection to it, and the broker, not TradingView, holds your money. For a Hong Kong trader, Pepperstone's Razor account is the connection we would use. Below are the alternatives, what each order costs, and the one account-type detail that catches people out.

Pepperstone: TradingView on the Razor account

On Pepperstone's international site, the one Hong Kong visitors are routed to, TradingView is available on Razor accounts only; the Standard account runs on MT4, MT5, cTrader and Pepperstone's web platform and app, but not TradingView. Razor pricing is published as an average of 0.1 pips on EUR/USD, and orders placed through TradingView pay $3.50 commission per side, so one standard lot opened and closed costs about $8 all in. You can hold the account in HKD (HKD 28.17 commission per side) or one of nine other base currencies, and the minimum to fund is $10 or the local equivalent. One plain limit: Pepperstone holds no SFC licence. Your account is with Pepperstone Markets Limited, licensed by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas.

How the chart-to-order link works

TradingView is the charting front end; the broker executes the trade and keeps the margin. In practice:

  1. Open and fund the broker account first (for Pepperstone, choose Razor at sign-up).
  2. In TradingView, open the trading panel under the chart and pick your broker from the list.
  3. Log in with the broker account details, not your TradingView password.
  4. Orders, stops and position sizes you set on the chart are sent to the broker account, and fills, swaps and statements come from the broker.
  5. Withdrawals are handled in the broker's client area, never in TradingView.

Is TradingView the cheapest way to trade at Pepperstone?

Not quite. The spread is the same on every Razor platform, but the commission is not. Per standard lot of EUR/USD, round turn, using the 0.1-pip published average ($1 at $10 a pip):

  • TradingView or MT5: $1 + $7 commission = about $8.
  • MT4: $7 commission charged when the position opens, so also about $8.
  • cTrader: $3.00 per side on FX, so $1 + $6 = about $7.
  • If you chart in TradingView but trade often, a cheaper setup is to analyse there and execute on cTrader; for occasional trades the convenience is worth the extra dollar.

Can I use TradingView with a Pepperstone Standard account?

No. On Pepperstone's international site TradingView is offered on Razor accounts only. Standard accounts use MT4, MT5, cTrader and Pepperstone's own platform.

Does XS connect to TradingView?

Not according to its published platform list, which names MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and the XS Trading App.

Is my money held by TradingView when I trade from its charts?

No. TradingView only passes your orders on. The broker you log in to executes the trades and holds your deposit, so its licence and client-money rules are what protect you.

Which TradingView-linked broker is licensed by the SFC?

None of the six brokers in the table shows an SFC licence in our data. If a Hong Kong licence matters most to you, search the SFC Public Register before you open an account.
