Where can I trade Amazon and Apple shares online?
Verdict
- Pepperstone is our pick for trading Apple and Amazon price moves online from the UAE: it lists 600+ US share CFDs at a published $0.02 per share per side, and Apple trades 24 hours a day on weekdays as AAPL.US-24.
- Amazon is not named on the Pepperstone pages we verified; it would sit in the same US share range, so confirm the symbol before you fund.
- Trading a CFD is not the same as owning the shares. If you want to hold Apple and Amazon for years, a share-dealing account fits better than a CFD broker.
- Capital.com, with a UAE CMA-licensed Dubai company, is our second choice for share CFDs; XS is third.
Two different things hide in this question: trading the price of Apple and Amazon, and owning the shares. Online CFD brokers do the first. Pepperstone is the one we recommend for it from the UAE. Below we cover what each route gives you, what trading the two stocks costs, and how to choose.
Trading Apple and Amazon CFDs with Pepperstone
Pepperstone's share CFDs cover 600+ US stocks from the NYSE and Nasdaq. Apple appears in its own documentation as the example of its 24-hour US shares, AAPL.US-24, one of 100+ US stocks it quotes 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Amazon is not named on the pages we verified, so search for it in the platform. Pricing is $0.02 per share per side with no minimum, plus the spread. For UAE clients, retail leverage on shares is 1:20, the account can be held in AED or USD, and you can trade from Pepperstone's app, MT5 or cTrader, or TradingView and MT4 on Razor.

CFD or real shares: which route fits you
If you want to own the stocks, look for a platform that sells the shares themselves. eToro, for example, separates real stocks from CFD positions in its published terms and holds an ADGM FSRA permission (220073) for its Abu Dhabi company; confirm what that entity offers you before signing up.
| Share CFD (e.g. Pepperstone) | Owning the shares | |
|---|---|---|
| What you hold | A contract on the price | The shares themselves |
| Short selling | Yes | Depends on the account |
| Leverage | Up to 1:20 for UAE retail at Pepperstone | Usually none on a cash account |
| Holding cost | Overnight financing each night | Depends on the platform's fees |
| Suits | Short-term trading of price moves | Long-term investing |
A cost example with both stocks
Suppose you open 60 Apple CFDs and 80 Amazon CFDs. Commission is 140 shares at $0.02: $2.80 to open both and $2.80 to close. If the two positions together are worth $24,000, the 1:20 cap means $1,200 of margin. Because Pepperstone's swap-free account is not available to UAE residents, both positions pay overnight financing if you hold them past the rollover; at a long-term horizon, that financing is the reason a CFD is the wrong tool for buy-and-hold.
Other CFD brokers for UAE residents
- Capital.com: licensed by the UAE CMA (20200000176) through its Dubai company, with 20:1 leverage on shares and a swap-free account for UAE residents. Platforms: web, app, MT4, MT5, TradingView.
- XS: share CFDs on MT4, MT5 and the XS Trading App; swap-free is automatic for UAE residents, though shares pay swaps from day one.
- Neither publishes a per-share commission in our data, so price a demo trade on each.

Can I trade Apple shares at night from Dubai?
With Pepperstone's AAPL.US-24, yes: it trades 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
Do I get Apple or Amazon dividends with a CFD?
Not as a shareholder, because you don't own the shares. Check the broker's terms for how dividends affect an open CFD.
What is the minimum to start?
Pepperstone's minimum deposit is $10, but the margin for a share position at 1:20 is 5% of its value, so plan your size first.
CFDs are complex and leveraged, and you can lose money rapidly. A CFD does not give you ownership of Apple or Amazon shares. This page is not investment advice; check each provider's terms before you open an account.
