Which brokers offer instant deposits in the UK?
Verdict
- Pepperstone offers instant deposits in the UK: debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are credited immediately, from £10 and with no fee.
- Bank transfers are not instant at Pepperstone: they have no minimum but take from the same day up to 7 working days.
- IG, StoneX Trading and Capital.com publish card minimums of £1, £100 and 20 GBP respectively, but none of their crediting times are in our verified data.
- Instant only applies once your account is verified, and only with a card or wallet in your own name.
If you want money on your trading account within moments, pay by card or phone wallet. Pepperstone is the one UK firm in our data that states those deposits arrive immediately; for the others we can confirm the minimum but not the speed.
Pepperstone credits card and wallet payments immediately
Pepperstone Limited (FCA 684312) lists four instant routes on its UK funding page: debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Each has a £10 minimum, no fee and immediate crediting. You can hold the account in GBP, USD, EUR or CHF, so a sterling card paying into a GBP account involves no currency step on the way in. That combination of speed, a low entry amount and an FCA-regulated home is why it heads this list.

What 'instant' covers, and what it doesn't
An instant deposit means the money shows on your trading balance straight away so you can use it as margin. It does not skip the identity checks every FCA firm runs before your first trade, and it does not apply to bank transfers, which at Pepperstone can take up to 7 working days. A note on IG: its help centre gives the £1 card minimum, but an older table on its own site still shows £250, so check which applies when you sign up.
Card, phone wallet or bank transfer?
Choose with the way back in mind. Pepperstone returns withdrawals to the source you paid from, and its card, Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals are listed as same day to 1 working day, against up to 3 working days for bank transfers. So a card or wallet deposit is fast both ways. Bank transfers make sense for larger sums because there is no minimum and no fee, but send them a few days before you need the margin.
- Topping up margin during a busy session: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Moving a larger balance without card limits: bank transfer, planned ahead.
- Testing a new account: a £10 card deposit, then a small withdrawal to check the full cycle.
Before your first instant deposit
- Complete verification first; a payment sent before approval just waits.
- Make sure the card is in your name. Pepperstone does not accept third-party payments.
- Pick your base currency before funding to avoid conversion on every deposit and withdrawal.
- Keep a margin buffer: a late top-up during a sharp move may arrive after a close-out.
