Which brokers offer rebates for high volume traders?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone, our pick for active traders, publishes no cash-rebate scheme in the sources we checked. What it does publish is a cheaper route for volume: Razor on cTrader at US$3.00 per side on FX, against US$3.50 on MT5.
  • None of the other brokers in our data publishes a volume rebate table either, so treat any rebate offer as a private deal and get it in writing.
  • Pepperstone also lists a free VPS for eligible and Pro clients. Under its Bahamas entity you can apply for Pro status by meeting two of three tests: leveraged-trading experience, over US$500,000 in cash and investments, or work in financial services.
  • Singapore residents deal with Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB SIA-F217); Pepperstone holds no MAS licence.

Rebates are usually negotiated, not advertised, which makes them hard to compare. What you can compare is the published price per lot at volume, and that is where the real savings show up.

What Pepperstone offers volume traders instead

Pepperstone's lowest published FX commission is on cTrader: US$3.00 per side, or US$6 a round-turn lot, on a Razor account whose EUR/USD spread averages 0.1 pips. The same account on MT5 or TradingView pays US$3.50 per side. Moving a busy strategy to cTrader is the nearest thing to a rebate it publishes, and it needs no application or volume threshold. Its fee pages list no inactivity fee and free deposits, so a large account isn't eroded by side charges.

Pro status: what changes

  • Higher leverage: up to 1:500 on FX, gold and major indices, against 1:200 for retail.
  • Free VPS for eligible and Pro clients, useful for automated strategies.
  • Weaker protection: negative balance protection becomes discretionary and one-time, up to US$100,000, instead of automatic.
  • Pepperstone's pricing pages show no separate, cheaper commission for Pro clients in our data.

Questions to ask about any rebate offer

  1. Which company pays it, and is it written into your client agreement?
  2. Is it cash to your balance, or a commission discount?
  3. What volume do you need each month, and what happens in a quiet month?
  4. Does it require Pro status and the loss of retail protections?
  5. Does it beat simply trading on the broker's cheapest published platform?

Does XS offer volume rebates?

Not in our data. Its Elite account publishes 0.1 pips average on EUR/USD with a US$6 round-turn commission and a US$500 minimum.

What is Pepperstone's commission in an SGD account?

SGD 4.55 per side per standard lot on MT5 and TradingView, or SGD 9.10 per round turn.

Does Pepperstone charge less for larger trades?

Its published commission is a flat rate per lot; we found no sliding scale for volume on its pricing pages.
