Which trading app lets you trade forex, gold and indices in one place?
Verdict
- Pepperstone does, and it is our pick: one Standard or Razor account covers forex, gold and indices, traded from its own app, MT5 or cTrader, plus MT4 and TradingView on Razor.
- Pepperstone's account tables count 93 forex pairs and 26 indices (March 2025 data); gold averages 0.12 on Razor, and index CFDs are commission-free.
- For UAE retail clients, all three asset classes share the same 1:200 maximum leverage on majors at Pepperstone.
- Capital.com and XS also cover forex, gold and indices in one app; Capital.com adds a swap-free option for UAE residents, which Pepperstone lacks.
Most CFD brokers let you trade currencies, gold and stock indices from one login; what differs is the price on each and whether every platform carries all three. On both counts Pepperstone is our first choice for a UAE resident, with costs published for each asset class.
One Pepperstone account, three asset classes
A single balance funds all three markets, so a gold trade and an index trade draw on the same margin and appear in one statement. Pepperstone's costs differ by asset: forex on Razor averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD plus commission ($3.00 per side on cTrader, $3.50 elsewhere); gold averages 0.12 on Razor and 0.19 on Standard; indices carry no commission and are priced in the spread, for example 0.4 points on the US500 and 1 on the GER40 on Razor, per its Australian fee page. UAE residents can hold the account in AED and fund from $10. Retail CFDs come from Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB, Bahamas), and the group runs a DFSA-regulated company in the DIFC.

Pepperstone's terms for each asset class (UAE retail)
| Asset class | Range in account tables | Razor cost | Max retail leverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forex | 93 pairs | 0.1 pips EUR/USD avg + commission | 1:200 majors and minors |
| Gold | Part of 40 commodities | 0.12 avg + $3.50 per side | 1:200 |
| Indices | 26 indices | Spread only, e.g. US500 0.4 avg | 1:200 majors; 1:100 minors |
Same markets, different platforms
In the UAE, the Standard account trades all three asset classes on Pepperstone's app, MT5 and cTrader; Razor adds MT4 and TradingView. Indices behave differently from currencies on these platforms: they follow their own exchange sessions, so check the trading hours for each index before placing an order outside them.
Capital.com and XS for multi-asset trading
Capital.com covers forex, commodities and indices in its own app and on MetaTrader and TradingView. Its Dubai company, licensed by the UAE Capital Market Authority, lists retail leverage of 300:1 on forex and indices and 500:1 on gold, and it offers a swap-free account to UAE residents. XS offers the three on MT4, MT5 and its app, with swap-free status applied automatically for UAE residents; its published EUR/USD price is 0.1 pips on Elite plus $6 round turn, but our data has no gold or index pricing for it.
