Which forex broker offers SGD-denominated accounts?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone offers SGD-denominated accounts: SGD is one of ten base currencies on its international entity, for both the Razor and Standard accounts.
  • In an SGD Razor account, forex commission is charged in Singapore dollars at SGD 4.55 per side per lot.
  • XS, which accepts Singapore residents, lists only USD, EUR and JPY base currencies; Capital.com does not accept Singapore residents.
  • Pepperstone's international entity is Pepperstone Markets Limited (SCB Bahamas, SIA-F217), which holds no MAS licence.

An SGD account keeps your balance, profits, losses and fees in the currency you live in. Pepperstone is the one broker in our data that offers it to Singapore residents, which is why it is our answer here.

Pepperstone's SGD account in practice

Pepperstone Markets Limited lists ten base currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY, NZD, SGD and HKD. Choose SGD when you open the account; the same Razor and Standard pricing applies. On Razor, commission is SGD 4.55 per side per standard lot on forex; on Standard there is no commission and EUR/USD averages 1.1 pips.

What an SGD account changes, and what it doesn't

  • Your profit and loss on a pair like EUR/USD is earned in US dollars and converted into SGD for your balance; the account currency does not remove currency exposure in the trade itself.
  • Deposits from a Singapore bank in SGD avoid an extra conversion step that a USD account would need.
  • Your margin is shown in SGD, which makes it easier to see how much of your money is at risk.
  • Spreads are identical; only the commission currency changes on Razor.

Funding an SGD account

Pepperstone's international deposit table lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, crypto and domestic bank transfer, all free. It does not mention PayNow or FAST, so check with Pepperstone which bank route reaches your SGD account and whether your bank charges for it. Withdrawals go back to the source you paid from; international wires carry a USD 20 fee on the international costs page.

MAS-licensed brokers and SGD

Firms with a Singapore company, such as IG Asia, Saxo, CMC Markets Singapore or OANDA, may offer SGD accounts too, but their base-currency lists are not in our fact set. Ask them directly if a MAS licence matters as much to you as the account currency.
