Three brokers in our data accept Hong Kong residents and offer crypto CFDs: Pepperstone, Capital.com and XS. All three do it from offshore entities, so the useful comparison is coin range, published cost and leverage. Pepperstone leads on the first two.
Pepperstone, Capital.com and XS: who offers what
Pepperstone publishes the most detail. Its Bahamas retail margin table, effective 19 September 2026, lists 44 crypto CFDs against the US dollar plus BTC and ETH against AUD, EUR and GBP. It charges no commission on crypto CFDs and publishes average spreads for the main coins. Capital.com's Bahamas company lists crypto leverage of 20:1, and XS's account terms refer to crypto pairs, but neither publishes a coin list or crypto spread in our data.

The SFC question
A crypto CFD is a leveraged derivative, not a coin in a wallet, so the firm's licence matters more than the coin list. Pepperstone does not appear on the SFC public register, and Capital.com's and XS's published regulator lists contain no SFC licence. That leaves you relying on Bahamas oversight for Pepperstone, with no named compensation scheme. Retail clients are not liable for negative equity under Pepperstone's Bahamas terms.
