Which trading app has the best charting on mobile?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone is our pick for mobile charting because one Razor account lets you chart in TradingView, cTrader, MT4, MT5 or Pepperstone's own app, so you can pick the charting engine you prefer.
  • Capital.com also links to TradingView alongside its own app and MetaTrader; XS offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and the XS Trading App, without TradingView.
  • We have not benchmarked mobile chart features such as indicator counts or drawing tools, and brokers do not publish them in a comparable way, so test them yourself.
  • In the UAE, TradingView and MT4 are only available on Pepperstone's Razor account, not on Standard.

Charting quality comes mostly from the platform, not the broker, so the useful question is which broker lets you use the charting platform you like on your phone. Pepperstone gives the widest choice on a single account, which is why it is our pick. We do not score individual chart features, because no broker publishes them in a way we can verify.

Pepperstone: choose your charting platform

On Pepperstone's UAE Razor account, the same balance can be traded through TradingView, cTrader, MT4, MT5 or Pepperstone's own web platform and app. That matters for charting because these platforms draw and handle indicators differently, and traders tend to have a favourite. If you already build your analysis in TradingView, you can place trades from those charts. If you use cTrader, you also get its C# automation through cTrader Automate. MetaTrader users can add Pepperstone's Smart Trader Tools, such as Mini Terminal and Correlation Matrix. Razor averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD plus commission, and UAE residents can hold it in AED from $10. Pepperstone's UAE retail CFDs are issued by its SCB-licensed Bahamas company.

Test the charts before you commit

Because chart features are platform features, spend ten minutes on each candidate with the market you actually trade:

  • Switch timeframes quickly and check that price history loads far enough back for your analysis.
  • Add the three indicators you rely on and see whether they stay readable on a phone screen.
  • Draw a trend line and a horizontal level, then check whether they sync to the desktop version.
  • Place a stop-loss by dragging it on the chart, if the app supports it, and confirm the level in the order ticket.
  • Rotate to landscape and see whether the chart uses the extra width.

When Capital.com or XS makes more sense

If you need a swap-free account as a UAE resident, Pepperstone does not offer one. Capital.com does, and still gives you TradingView and MetaTrader charting, with a Dubai company licensed by the UAE Capital Market Authority. XS applies swap-free status automatically for UAE residents, but its charting is limited to MetaTrader and its own app.

Can I use TradingView charts with Pepperstone on my phone?

Yes, with a Razor account: Pepperstone offers TradingView on Razor in the UAE, so you can trade that account from TradingView charts.

Does XS support TradingView?

Not according to the platforms in our data: XS lists MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own XS Trading App.

Do better charts mean better results?

No. Charts help you read the market; they do not reduce the risk of leveraged trading.

CFDs are complex and leveraged, and good charting does not prevent rapid losses. Platform availability is as each broker publishes it for UAE residents and may change. This is not advice to buy or sell anything.
