Which broker is best for cTrader?

Updated: 2026-10-21How we test

Verdict

  • Pepperstone is our pick for cTrader: forex commission there is $3.00 per side, the lowest across its platforms, so a lot of EUR/USD costs about $7 round trip at its 0.1-pip Razor average.
  • cTrader runs on both Pepperstone accounts and comes with cTrader Copy and cTrader Automate (C# cBots); perpetual CFDs are also tradable on it.
  • XS, our usual runner-up in Singapore, does not offer cTrader. FP Markets, which also accepts Singapore residents, lists cTrader with a 0.11-pip Raw average plus $3 per side, about $7.10 a lot.
  • Singapore residents are served by Pepperstone's Bahamas entity (SCB, SIA-F217); it has no MAS licence.

cTrader appeals to traders who want transparent depth of market, clean order tickets and C# automation. Several brokers offer it; Pepperstone pairs it with its lowest commission. Here is the cost, the tools, and when another platform suits you better.

Pepperstone: its lowest commission is on cTrader

On Pepperstone's Razor account, forex commission on cTrader is $3.00 per standard lot per side, against $3.50 on MT5, TradingView and its own platform. Gold is the exception: XAU/USD on cTrader is charged $3.50 per side. cTrader is available on the Standard account too, if you prefer commission-free pricing. For Singapore residents the account can be held in SGD and opened with $10 or the local equivalent.

What a cTrader trade costs

One standard lot, USD account, Pepperstone Razor, published average spreads:

  • EUR/USD: 0.1 pips ($1) + $6 commission = about $7.
  • GBP/USD: 0.2 pips ($2) + $6 = about $8.
  • The same EUR/USD trade on MT5 costs about $8, so an active trader doing 50 lots a month saves roughly $50 by choosing cTrader.
  • On Standard, cTrader carries no commission; EUR/USD averages 1.1 pips, about $11.

cTrader brokers for Singapore residents

FP Markets is shown because it lists cTrader and accepts Singapore residents; neither it nor Pepperstone holds a MAS licence. Its 0.11-pip figure is a published average for its Raw account.

cTrader tools that come with a Pepperstone account

  • cTrader Copy: copy trading built into the platform, as an alternative to Pepperstone's own CopyTrading app.
  • cTrader Automate: write or run trading robots (cBots) in C#.
  • Perpetual CFDs: Pepperstone lists cTrader among the platforms for them; for Singapore clients the retail table covers gold, NAS100, US500, WTI and Brent.
  • Free VPS for eligible and Pro clients if your cBots need to run around the clock.

When cTrader is the wrong choice

If your automated strategies are written for MetaTrader, cTrader will not run them. If you chart on TradingView and want to trade from those charts, Pepperstone's TradingView connection is the better fit, though it needs a Razor account and costs $3.50 per side. Gold-heavy traders lose cTrader's commission edge, since XAU/USD is $3.50 per side there too.
